Jennifer Lawrence almost turned down the role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games due to the level of fame she saw with the Twilight fandom. Lawrence revealed that she assumed it would be the same level of fame and didn't want to be the most famous person on the planet. She also admitted to auditioning for Twilight and being turned down immediately. Lawrence had to "churn out" films in between installments of The Hunger Games to make sure she was not only known for the franchise.
