John Wick 5: Reviving the Franchise After Box Office Success

Lionsgate is considering a fifth installment of the John Wick franchise after the fourth movie's impressive opening at the global box office, despite it being expected to be the final installment. The movie earned $73.8 million domestically and $67.6 million overseas, setting a series record. While the character seemingly meets his demise at the end of Chapter 4, there is enough vagueness in the final moments to give the filmmakers some wiggle room. Keanu Reeves will also appear in the franchise's first spinoff, Ballerina, and a prequel is also a possibility.
