Kelly Clarkson wrapped seven seasons of The Kelly Clarkson Show with an Aug. 31 finale, delivering a soaring Kellyoke performance of “Golden” (the most-requested song for the segment) accompanied by her house band My Band Y’all. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Kristin Chenoweth and others praised the rendition on social media. Clarkson had announced earlier this year that she would end the show to spend more time with her kids, and she hinted she’ll continue making music and may pop up on The Voice in the future.
