At the HBO premiere of Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, Larry David blasted Donald Trump’s UFC fight at the White House as a travesty and said he was embarrassed to be an American; the sketch-comedy series, which debuts June 26, satirizes moments in U.S. history and features guests like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Bill Hader, and Barack Obama, who appears in an episode after reaching out to David. David co-created the show with Jeff Schaffer, who directed all episodes, and Obama praised the former president’s timing and ad-libbing in the scene.
