The sequel, directed by Tim Burton and set for release in 2024, will see Keaton and Winona Ryder reprise their roles, with newcomer Jenna Ortega joining the cast. The screenplay is being written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, creators of the Netflix "Addams Family" series.
