TL;DR

Russell Crowe expressed his frustration at being constantly asked about Gladiator 2, stating that he knows nothing about the film and is not involved in it. Crowe admitted to feeling a tinge of jealousy towards those working on the sequel, but emphasized that his character is dead in the Gladiator universe. He praised director Ridley Scott's decision to continue the story after 20 years and believes the film will be spectacular. Gladiator 2 is set to be released on November 22, 2024, and will reportedly star Paul Mescal.
