Martin Scorsese received CinemaCon's inaugural Legend of Cinema Award and urged exhibitors to show real independent films to attract new filmmakers to cinemas and invest in the future of the cinematic experience. He also sat down with Leonardo DiCaprio for a Q&A session that touched on various topics, including their latest movie, Killers of the Flower Moon. The Apple Original film, which premiered at Cannes, will open exclusively in theaters in partnership with Paramount Pictures on October 6.
