The second trailer for Sony's upcoming film "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" has set a viewership record, becoming the most-viewed second trailer for any recent Marvel film within a 24-hour period and the most-viewed superhero film trailer of the summer. The trailer has garnered 148.6 million views since its launch, surpassing the tallies of trailers for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" and "The Flash." The film, which is the first of two planned sequels to Sony's 2018 Best Animated Feature Oscar winner "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," is set to release on June 2, 2023.
