"The Flash" movie, directed by Andy Muschietti, is a multiverse-hopping time-travel adventure that pens a love letter to DC superhero movies past. The film features Michael Keaton back in a Batman cape and cowl, the debut of Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, and a top-flight sense of humor. However, the movie loses its way in the end by bending over backward trying to link a ton of disparate elements.
