Tim Curry’s death ruled by coronary artery disease, decades after Rocky Horror fame

Tim Curry died Aug. 25 in Los Angeles at age 80; reports say the cause of death was coronary artery disease, with a history of a major stroke and kidney cancer noted but not listed as the underlying cause. He was best known as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and had a wide career in film, stage, and voice work. His longtime manager Marcia Hurwitz confirmed the death.
