The WWE apologized for using an image of Auschwitz in a video promoting a match, with audio of wrestler Dominik Mysterio pretending to be a criminal incarcerated in the facility. The company stated that they had no knowledge of the image and removed it immediately upon learning. The image does not appear in YouTube replays. The WWE recently announced its acquisition by the UFC parent Endeavor, creating one of the world’s largest sports and entertainment companies.
