Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Contemplated Presidential Run

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson revealed that he was approached by political parties at the end of 2022 about running for president, following a 2021 survey where 46% of respondents expressed their desire for him to run. Although he was honored by the offer, Johnson stated that politics has never been his goal and that there are aspects of it that he dislikes. While he had previously mentioned considering a presidential run in 2017, he clarified that he would only do so if it was what the people wanted. Johnson also expressed concerns about balancing his parental duties with the demands of the presidency.
