"Liberal Commentators React to Jon Stewart's Smooth Return to 'The Daily Show'"
TL;DR
Liberal journalists and commentators expressed frustration over Jon Stewart's return to "The Daily Show," criticizing his jokes about President Biden's age and perceived equivocation with former President Trump. Some labeled Stewart's humor as lazy and unhelpful, while others argued that the stakes of the election made Biden more subject to scrutiny. Stewart's return comes as the 2024 White House race appears to be heading towards a likely rematch between President Biden and former President Trump.
