Sweet Magnolias Bids Adieu as Netflix Orders Ladies of the House

Netflix has canceled Sweet Magnolias after five seasons and is launching a new drama, Ladies of the House, with JoAnna Garcia Swisher and series creator Sheryl J. Anderson at the helm. The show, produced by Rolling Clover with Black Label Media, is loosely based on a Lauren Edmonson novel and follows three Richardson women as they navigate family, romance and winery business after the winery owner’s death.
