Karl Lagerfeld's American family, including his trucker nephew and the bride for whom he designed a wedding dress, will not be attending the Met Gala honoring the late designer. Lagerfeld, who once claimed to have "no family," actually had a sister, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces in blue-collar Portland, Connecticut. His family members, who still live in the town, have had little contact with the enigmatic fashion icon. Meanwhile, Lagerfeld's beloved cat, Choupette, is expected to attend the event.
