Fire Destroys Bakery in East Anchorage Neighborhood

A commercial garage associated with a former bakery in Northeast Anchorage, Paris Bakery, burned down on Wednesday morning. The structure, which reportedly closed its doors in recent years but still delivers to other businesses, was empty at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported, and the Anchorage Fire Department responded quickly to the scene.
