The actor reportedly bought the home for $1.7 million in 1994 and sold it in March for $40 million. The elderly neighbor, John, lived in the home until he passed away. The mansion was also the former home of Pitt and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, where they raised their six children. The previous owner, Elvira of "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark," claimed the home was haunted and even had a priest perform an exorcism.
