National Book Critics Circle Awards Honor Diverse Group of Authors.

Ukrainian author Andrey Kurkov and translator Boris Dralyuk won the National Book Critics Circle Award's inaugural translation prize for the novel "Grey Bees," which tells the story of a beekeeper living in the "gray zone" of the Donbas region. The awards, which are among the most prestigious literary awards in the United States, also recognized works in fiction, nonfiction, biography, autobiography, poetry, and criticism.
