Monte earns Utah's first Michelin Star in Southwest Guide

Monte, a South Salt Lake restaurant, earned Utah’s first MICHELIN Star in Michelin’s inaugural Southwest Guide unveiled in Las Vegas, with inspectors praising founder and head chef Martín Babio’s refined tasting menu that leans on local producers and a philosophy of letting nature lead. The recognition places Monte among a select group of top restaurants, and three other Utah spots—Feldman’s Deli, One More Noodle House, and Pho 777—were honored with Bib Gourmand distinctions for “great food at great value.”
