Wonder Bread Building to Become a 4,000-Seat San Diego Music Venue

Live Nation plans to convert San Diego’s historic Wonder Bread building into a 4,000-seat music venue opening fall 2028, aiming to fill a mid-sized act gap with about 80–90 shows per year; the project, purchased for $16.8 million, is projected to create roughly 660 jobs and $97 million in annual economic impact while preserving the building’s character, though parking and noise concerns have been raised and mitigations are planned.
