Anya Taylor-Joy Stars in 'Furiosa': The Epic Prequel to 'Mad Max: Fury Road'

The trailer for "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga," the prequel to "Mad Max: Fury Road," has been released, featuring Anya Taylor-Joy in the lead role. Directed by George Miller, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland and follows Furiosa as she plots her way back home through the Wasteland. The prequel also stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, and Quaden Bayles. Despite initial plans to use CGI de-aging on Charlize Theron to reprise her role as Furiosa, the character will be played by Taylor-Joy. "Furiosa" is set to hit theaters on May 24, 2024.
