Inde Navarrette is set to star in The Waffle House Index, a disaster-themed movie from Apple Original Films with Plan B producing. Louis Paxton will direct, Andrew Nunnelly wrote the script, and the project previously surfaced on the Black List. The film centers on Jane, who works the graveyard shift at a Waffle House as a storm looms, with FEMA’s Waffle House Index used as a gauge of disaster severity. Navarrette recently portrayed Rogue in Marvel’s X‑Men project and rose to prominence on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why.
