Stella Lefty faces plagiarism allegations again, this time over Blake Shelton similarity

Stella Lefty is facing plagiarism allegations again—this time for similarities between her single Why Wouldn’t We and Blake Shelton’s 2017 hit I’ll Name The Dogs; writing credits list Lefty with Emily Weisband, Grady Block and Steph Jones, while Shelton’s team includes Matt Dragstrem, Ben Hayslip and Josh Thompson, and neither has publicly commented yet. Lefty has previously faced similar claims over Boston in relation to Noah Kahan’s Stick Season, and she’s currently promoting an 18-date North American tour.
