ABBA Mourns the Loss of Longtime Guitarist Lasse Wellander at 70.

Lasse Wellander, the longtime touring and recording guitarist for Swedish pop group ABBA, has died of cancer at around 70 years old. Wellander played an integral role in ABBA's sound and continued to work with members Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson after the group split in 1982. He also contributed to the soundtracks for the "Mamma Mia!" movies and reunited with ABBA for their latest album, "Voyage." Wellander was remembered by ABBA as a dear friend, fun guy, and superb guitarist who will be deeply missed and never forgotten in the music industry.
