TL;DR

Jung Kook of BTS surprises fans with a new collaboration, a remix of his single "3D" featuring Justin Timberlake. The timing of the release seems odd as Jung Kook has already moved on to promoting his solo album and a newer single. The original version of "3D" debuted at No. 5 on the Hot 100, but has since fallen on the charts. While the purpose of the collaboration is unclear, it could potentially help the song's chances on radio charts and attract a more mature audience.
