TL;DR

Matthew McConaughey joined The Last Bison for a bluegrass-flavored rendition of Ella Langley’s hit 'Choosin’ Texas' on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, ahead of the Aug. 14 release of The Rivals of Amziah King; the rambling porch-style performance, staged like a rural roadhouse, underscores the film’s musical ties as McConaughey’s character leads a beekeeping-backed folk band.
