Paul McCartney clarified that no artificial or synthetic creation was used in The Beatles' new song, which features the late John Lennon's voice. The song was created by cleaning up existing recordings and mixing them as usual. The use of AI was to separate John's voice and piano from the rest of the recording. The Recording Academy's CEO said that the song would be eligible for a Grammy if there were other performances and human creation involved. The release date for the song has not been announced yet.
