Paul McCartney Defends Authenticity of AI-Generated Beatles Song

Paul McCartney clarified that the new Beatles record set to be released later this year is "all real" and uses original voices and music, after initially saying that AI had been used to create the song. McCartney had previously said that AI was used to extract John Lennon's voice from an old demo to create "the last Beatles record." The technology was used to separate the Beatles' voices from background sounds during the making of director Peter Jackson's 2021 documentary series, "The Beatles: Get Back."
