"Paul McCartney Reunited with Stolen Bass After 50-Year Search"

Paul McCartney's stolen Hofner bass, used during The Beatles' early years, has been found and returned over 50 years after it was stolen. The Lost Bass Project located the instrument, which was authenticated by Höfner, and it has been returned to McCartney. The bass, first purchased in 1961, was used in numerous live shows and recordings, including classic Beatles tracks. The search for the bass began in 2018, and after receiving numerous leads, it was discovered in the attic of someone living on the south coast of England. McCartney is grateful for its return and is set to make a guest appearance in the upcoming Spin̈al Tap sequel.
