Dolly Martinez, My 600-Lb Life Alum, Dies at 30

Dolly Martinez, who appeared on TLC’s My 600-Lb Life, has died at age 30. Her sister Lindsey Cooper announced the death on Facebook, noting Dolly’s bright personality and that she had been hospitalized while fighting for her life. The Fort Worth, Texas native appeared in a 2022 episode weighing 593 pounds and relying on supplemental oxygen; she lost about 40 pounds on the show but was not approved for bariatric surgery after meeting with Dr. Nowzaradan, joining more than two dozen participants from the series who have since died.
