Ray Hildebrand, known as the "Paul" in the 1960s pop duo Paul & Paula, passed away at the age of 82. The duo achieved success with their breakout hit "Hey Paula" in 1963, followed by their only other top 10 hit, "Young Lovers." After parting ways in 1965, Hildebrand pursued a career in contemporary Christian music and formed a duo called Land & Hildebrand in the 1980s. Hildebrand's faith played a significant role in his life, leading him to shift his focus to gospel music. He is survived by his daughter and son.
