Vincent Pastore, 'Big Pussy' From The Sopranos, Dies at 80 of Natural Causes

Vincent Pastore, best known as Salvatore 'Big Pussy' Bonpensiero on The Sopranos, died in his sleep at age 80 from natural causes in his Bronx home after friends couldn't reach him for days; authorities found no foul play. A Bronx native and Vietnam-era Navy veteran, Pastore built a long, varied career in film and TV, with roles in Goodfellas, Carlito’s Way, and Gotti, and later appearances on Law & Order, Hawaii Five-0, and Yellowjackets, plus work in reality TV, Broadway, radio, and a podcast.
