End of Oak Street: No Cloverfield Link, Abrams Confirms After Leak
TL;DR
A post-screening leak claims The End of Oak Street has no Cloverfield references, and JJ Abrams confirms the only tie to the Cloverfield universe is that Mary Elizabeth Winstead (star of 10 Cloverfield Lane) is involved; beyond that, the film appears to be a standalone sci‑fi about a suburban family transported to an unknown place with hints of time travel, arriving August 14 in theaters and IMAX, with Cloverfield’s future still unclear.
