Search for Missing Actor Julian Sands Continues Despite Unsuccessful Attempts.

A search for actor Julian Sands, who went missing in January while hiking on Mount Baldy in Southern California, was unsuccessful. The search was conducted by over 80 search-and-rescue volunteers and deputies, two helicopters, and drone crews. Despite the warmer weather, portions of the mountain remain inaccessible due to extreme alpine conditions, including steep terrain and ravines with 10-plus feet of ice and snow. Sands starred in several movies, including "A Room With a View" and "Leaving Las Vegas."
