French skier's harrowing crevasse fall captured on GoPro.

A French skier's terrifying fall into a massive crevasse in the Swiss Alps was captured by his GoPro and has gone viral. Despite being an experienced skier, Les Powtos stumbled upon a deceptive circle of snow, which caved into the crevasse, causing him to plummet into a dark, icy chute. He managed to slow his descent and ultimately come to a stop by wedging his skis into the sides of the glacier. Powtos posted the harrowing video on his Instagram page and explained that he made it out with ice cleats and rope given to him by friends.
