Roman Reigns Continues Historic Title Run with WrestleMania 39 Victory over Cody Rhodes.

Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes with the help of The Bloodline to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal championship at WrestleMania 39. Reigns' historic 944-day world-title reign continues, and he still hasn't been pinned since December 2019. The match was a celebration of the Anoaʻi family's Samoan dynasty in the business. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn thwarted Jimmy and Jey Uso's attempt to help Reigns win, but Paul Heyman distracted the referee, allowing Solo Sikoa to come out of the crowd and land the Samoan Spike on Rhodes. Reigns then delivered a final spear and pinned Rhodes' shoulders to the mat for the win.
