WWE Introduces Women's U.S. Title with New Tournament and Contenders

WWE SmackDown has introduced a new Women's United States Title, with a tournament underway to crown the inaugural champion. Bayley has advanced in the tournament, but the WWE Raw women's roster is not participating and has not been informed about the possibility of a secondary title for them, such as an Intercontinental Title. With WWE RAW moving to Netflix and expanding to a three-hour format, there is speculation that a new title could be introduced for the RAW women's division. The tournament finals are scheduled for December 14 at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
