"Seth Rollins Triumphs Over Finn Balor at WWE SummerSlam 2023, Secures World Heavyweight Title"
TL;DR
Seth Rollins retained his WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2023, defeating Finn Balor with the unintentional help of Damian Priest's Money in the Bank briefcase. Balor's loss prevented the completion of a Judgment Day Royal Flush, where every member of the stable holds a championship. The match was filled with callbacks to their 2016 Universal Championship match, but ultimately, WWE chose to maintain the status quo as Rollins emerged victorious.
