The Rock is preparing for his in-ring return at WrestleMania 40, training alongside Roman Reigns and others. WWE has provided two rings for his training, one in Los Angeles and the other in his family home in Hawaii. The training in LA has seen Rock simulate matches with NXT faction Gallus, with Michael “P.S.” Hayes and Bobby Roode also present. Despite being out of the ring for over 10 years, The Rock has minimal ring rust and has been part of additional rehearsals on the road.
