Disney+ Expands with ESPN Integration for Sports Fans
TL;DR
Disney is integrating ESPN Plus content into the Disney Plus app, adding an ESPN tile for live games and shows. This move is part of Disney's strategy to promote its Disney Plus/Hulu/ESPN Plus bundle by offering a curated selection of content from all three services. The integration is a step towards launching a full ESPN streaming service by 2025, which will be accessible through Disney Plus. Disney aims to boost its streaming business profitability through bundles and ad-supported plans, while also addressing password sharing issues.
