Disney+ Orders Pilot for EPCOT-Inspired Spaceship Earth Series

Disney+ has ordered a pilot for a Spaceship Earth TV series inspired by EPCOT’s iconic ride, with Jason Fuchs as showrunner and executive producer; the project from Five Ten Productions and Anomaly Pictures will be directed by Lee Toland Krieger and produced by 20th Television, and follows a band of teens from Earth’s past and future as they race to avert a global catastrophe, potentially expanding Disney’s ride-to-screen universe.
