Kim Cattrall will reprise her role as Samantha Jones in one episode of the new season of And Just Like That, despite her yearslong feud with some of the show's main creative forces. Cattrall shot her scene without seeing or speaking with the stars of the series or the showrunner, and it was reportedly HBO and Max chairman and CEO Casey Bloys who approached her about the cameo. Patricia Field, the costume designer from the original run of Sex and the City, dressed Cattrall for her scene, making it a power move on Cattrall's part.
