Fantasticks Reimagined: Broadway Announces Fresh Cast for Limited Revival

Deadline reports a Broadway revival of The Fantasticks, reimagined as a contemporary two-male–centered love story, with previews beginning October 22 and an official opening November 16 at the Hayes Theater for a 15-week limited run. The cast includes Maxim Chlumecky, Ruthie Ann Miles, Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer, Zane Phillips, Nathan Levy, and Ahmad Simmons, among others, under director/choreographer Christopher Gattelli. The production features a revised book/lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Harvey Schmidt, with design by Jason Sherwood (scenic), Linda Cho (costume), Jen Schriever (lighting), Nevin Steinberg (sound), and music supervision/orchestrations by Sam Davis and Rick Hip-Flores on music direction.
