Duffer Brothers' 'The Boroughs' Lands Series Order at Netflix.

The Duffer Brothers, creators of Stranger Things, have received a series order from Netflix for The Boroughs, a sci-fi drama from The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance showrunners Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews. The eight-episode series takes place in a seemingly picturesque retirement community in the New Mexico desert and revolves around a group of unlikely heroes who must band together to stop an otherworldly threat from stealing time. The Duffers will executive produce alongside Addiss and Matthews, with Hilary Leavitt also credited as an executive producer.
