Netflix Bets on a Dark YA Romance With Sid & Zoey

Netflix has ordered an eight-episode YA series Sid & Zoey, a supernatural mystery romance from Jon Kasdan, John Shiban, Bad Robot and Blumhouse Atomic Monster. Created by Kasdan, the show centers on Sid, a seductive, amoral teen from New York who moves to a Mississippi town and teams with Zoey, the sharp-witted chief’s daughter, as they uncover a hidden supernatural world beneath the town and a deadly mystery. Kasdan and Shiban will serve as showrunners and executive producers with J.J. Abrams’s Bad Robot and Blumhouse Atomic Monster, as part of Netflix’s expanding hub for YA content.
