Colorado man attacked by mountain lion while in hot tub

A man and his wife were sitting in a hot tub outside their home in Colorado when a mountain lion attacked the man's head. The couple screamed and splashed water at the animal, causing it to retreat. They were able to get out of the hot tub and run towards the safety of the house. The property owner, who works for Colorado Parks and Wildlife, alerted officers who set up a trap but have not located the mountain lion. Mountain lion attacks are rare, but not unheard of, and wildlife officers have provided tips to avoid encounters.
