"Nurse's Medication Switching Scandal Exposed in Oklahoma"

An Oklahoma nurse, Rebecca Holloway, has been arrested and faces felony charges after admitting to stealing patients' prescribed fentanyl and replacing it with tap water. Holloway, who worked at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, confessed to extracting the fentanyl from vials and injecting herself with it to feed her addiction. Her colleagues became suspicious of her behavior and alerted state and federal investigators. The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics called her actions reckless, as patients were put at risk by receiving tap water instead of their prescribed medication. The FDA's Office of Criminal Investigation is urging patients who were at Mercy Hospital from March to April 2022 to come forward if they suspect their medications were tampered with. Holloway could face up to ten years in prison.
