"Wichita Man Robbed and Shot While Taking Out Trash"

A man in his 20s was shot in the upper body while taking out the trash in south Wichita by a person wearing a ski mask, in what appeared to be a robbery. The victim was found outside his apartment complex and taken to the hospital in serious condition. The suspect and victim did not appear to know each other, and it is unclear if any property was taken. The police are asking for any information related to the incident.
