Grand Teton measles exposure prompts health alert for visitors

Visitors to Grand Teton National Park on July 7 may have been exposed to measles at Colter Bay Convenience Store (9–11 a.m.) and Colter Bay Cabin Office (3 p.m.–midnight); exposure also occurred in nearby Teton County on July 5 at Smith’s Food and Drug (11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.) and Wendy’s (12:15–2:15 p.m.). Health officials urge monitoring for 21 days after potential exposure and to call ahead if symptoms develop; Wyoming confirmed a second measles case in Teton County.
