YouTube couple Squirmy and Grubs, known for their posts about life as a couple in which one of them is disabled, received a parking ticket for backing into a disabled spot in West Hollywood. After complaining about the rule that prevented drivers from reversing into a spot, a viewer contacted a city official, resulting in the rule being changed. The city government realized the unintended repercussions of the rule and committed to removing the signs from all of their parking lots in West Hollywood, making every public parking lot in the area front or back-in parking.
